Markem-Imaje unveils multipurpose MW2160P CIJ White Ink for clear coding on cable and other extruded products

Markem-Imaje, the global provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions and industrial marking and coding systems, is bringing a new, highly versatile opaque white ink to the extrusion market that is compatible with its specialized extruded product coders.
 

These coders are the 9750+, 9750 E+, and 9750 EW+.

The MW2160P is tailored to meet the diverse needs of manufacturers working with extruded substrates such as PVC, PE, and rubber. The ink is designed as a multipurpose “do it all” solution with strong visibility, adhesion and durability qualities across a range of materials used in the extrusion industry.

This new ink is engineered to withstand the challenges posed by bending, rubbing, vulcanization, lubricants, and water, ensuring durability and longevity in even the most demanding industrial environments.

In addition to versatility, the MW2160P white ink also achieves superior adhesion on all extruded parts, ensures a reliable and long-lasting print quality, meeting the high standards required in industrial applications.

The recently-launched 9750 E, 9750 E+ and 9750 EW+ coders offer the market’s most advanced solutions for wire and cable marking and coding. This includes the first ever dual dye and pigment ink CIJ printer for the extrusion sector and a brand new dedicated printhead with jet stabilization to maintain width and legibility of wire coding.
